This work deals with the preliminary design of glass containers to be deposited on seabed at 2000 m depth after being filled liquefied carbon dioxide (CO2) a pressure 10 MPa. The specific purpose is provide structural analyses employed in novel patent CO2 storage method called confined submarine (CSCS). core steps CSCS technology are container manufacturing and filling high-pressure liquid CO2. Consequently, geometry, material properties response most critical aspects design. Due low cost high stability salty environment, has been identified as suitable for technology. Furthermore, compressive resistance allows where external water exceeds internal dioxide. On other hand, limited tensile requires careful shape have designed withstand stresses generated during their entire working life. includes filling, launching, impact final piling up stacking huge number containers. Finite element performed order define shape, conjugating an acceptable capacity safe mechanical both deposition phases.
